A few short months ago Glen was competing at NAGA and suffered a devastating, life-changing injury. Within seconds of the start of the match, in what can be described as a freak accident, his opponent fell with all his weight onto Glen's knee. Glen sustained an injury which can only be described as essentially breaking his leg at the knee!
His meniscus was torn out and was sitting on top of his kneecap (bucket-handled). His patella tendon was torn. His LCL was completely torn. His hamstring was completely torn at the Bicep Femoris tendon. His ACL was totaled. Both MCL and PCL were strained. And to top it all off, he severed his peroneal nerve, leading to permanent loss of feeling in his foot.
Despite all this, only months after his first surgery, Glen is already back in the gym doing light rehabilitation work, which is complimenting his Physical Therapy he's undergoing. His doctor's insist, the reason Glen is making such progress and his recovery is happening so quick, is because of the excellent shape he was in when he suffered his injury. Glen still has a long road ahead of him littered with several more surgeries, but I'm confident his progress will remain strong, and he WILL be back. We're proud of you Glen, you have the heart of a warrior and strong resolve. That goes a long way!
Glen, you are a strong man, so prond of you.
come on!
