Congratulations to Battle Ready S & C / CrossFit Ares' Ashley Cummins

Ashley successfully defended her title in Las Vegas friday night as the 115 pound Tuff N' Uff Champion, by a powerful 1st round submission by armbar.  Great Job Ashley!  You looked fierce and very powerful!  We're all PROUD of you, your tenacity, and all of your accomplishments. You have a bright future. Keep up the great work and keep training hard and smart!

DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! 

Watch this video all the way through!  The ending is well worth the wait...  The human body is capable of amazing feats!

500x8, 405x8, 315x8, 225x8 and 135x8 all done as one continuous drop set.

 

After squatting he said he could not walk for more than 30 minutes and the next 10 days provided the worst muscle soreness of his life.

 

While this is an extreme example, it is a great example of human drive, and seeing a task out to the end, while suffering.  He said before he attempted this, he wanted to do something no one else could do.  Mission accomplished as of yet.

 

 

Strong Wins for Charlie Hoer and Zach Freeman

 

CrossFit Ares Charlie Hoer and Zach Freeman ended their fights this weekend in strong fashion.  First, Charlie with a TITLE  win by submission on Friday night at SFL, and Zach Freeman set a record at Shamrock MMA's Bad Blood with a record setting, LIGHTNING QUICK, 8 SECOND KNOCKOUT!  

Keep up the hard work guys!  Proud of ya!       .... This goes for you too Shannon!
